Let's Can!

It's never too early to get a head start on canning and preserving your harvest. Join us for Planning on Canning Week at the Shawnee County Extension Office, April 23 to 27, 2018. Susan Fangman, FCS agent, will be available to answer your food preservation questions. Drop in, call her at 785-232-0062, ext. 103 or email at sfangman@ksu.edu. 

Pressure Canner Testing

Need your pressure canner dial gauge tested? Call our office at 785-232-0062 to make an appointment, and we will test your canner free of charge. Brands that we test are Magic Seal, Maid of Honor, National or Presto. We will need your lid with the dial.
