Addressing Your Horticulture Issues One on One

  • Topeka Farmer's Market: Stop by our booth, beginning April 25 and the second and fourth Saturdays May through August, and on September 12, from 7:30 am to 12 pm in the parking lot just southeast of 6th and Harrison!
  • Plant Care Fair: Join experts from K-State and our community for help solving problems with your lawn, landscape, garden, or trees, or just get general gardening We will also have information from other non-profit gardening groups in the Topeka area, and activities for kids. Please join us for this free event on June 18 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library!

 

Programs and Workshops

  • Programs: Presented at the Topeka and Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 SW 10th A variety of topics will be presented. See our website for program descriptions.
  • Need a Speaker? Our Speaker's Bureau can give presentations on a wide variety of gardening topics to your club or group! All you need to do is give us at least 8 weeks of lead time and fill out our request form, located on our website.

 

Vegetable Gardening Demonstrations

  • Demonstrations: Visitors can observe gardening techniques in action and ask questions about growing food in their own Master Gardeners are available at the Demonstration Vegetable and Community Garden (2303 SW College Ave., Topeka) on Saturdays, April-October from 9 am to 10 am.
