If you are on Original Medicare Part A, B, and the drug plan, Part D, it is very important for you to look at your drug coverage for the upcoming year.
Many Medicare Part D drug plans have changed their rates for monthly premiums, co-pays, deductibles, and even their medication formularies of what drugs they cover.
You are welcome to schedule an appointment with the Shawnee County Extension office to go over your prescription drug list and drug plans with a certified Senior Health Insurance Counselor. Free, unbiased, and confidential conversation to help you choose what is right for your health and mediation needs in 2027.

SHICK - Senior Health Insurance Counseling of Kansas

Kansas Drug Card - Free Prescription Assistance Program (PAP) for residents of Kansas and their families. This is not prescription drug insurance, but a discount program to assist those without insurance with their drug costs. [Note: This is not creditable coverage for those on Medicare.]
